Hide The Litter Box

I don’t know anyone who likes to clean a litter box, and I’ll bet there are just as many people who would prefer not having to have to look at it.

A Kitty Kabinet can solve the problem.  No … it won’t clean the litter box, but it will keep it out of site.  The Kitty Kabinet is a beautiful piece of cat furniture Kitty Kabinetmade in the U.S. of natural wood and stained to match your decor.  The functionality of the Kabinet can be expanded by adding optional pieces that include a drawer, a shelf, and additional storage in what’s called the “cubby”.

Some of the advantages of using the Kitty Kabinet are that it helps control litter box odor; it stops the dog from eating cat litter from an open box, and it can prevent your cat from tracking litter into your living area because there is a large “landing space” inside the Kabinet that will collect cat litter from your cats’ paws.

Take a look today at the options you have available in this versatile piece of cat furniture – you will be pleasantly surprised.

Tired of Litterbox Odor?

Shaker Style Kabinet

Shaker Style Kabinet

Our Kitty Kabinet, which encloses the unsightly litter box in a beautiful piece of cat furniture, helps control cat litterbox odor.

The Kitty Kabinet is made in the U.S. of natural wood.  You have your choice of two design styles, three wood types and one of three different stains so you can pick a color that best complements your home decor.  The stains we use are environmentally friendly, heavy duty, water based, acrylic finish to add beauty and safety to our cat furniture.

There is enough room inside the Kabinet to provide your cat a landing area when exiting the litterbox so that litter is not tracked into your living space.  The floor of the Kabinet is lined with a durable plastic laminate to allow for easy clean up of litter and the possible accident outside the litterbox.

Another option which is available in the event you have a larger breed cat, or if your feline friend has been eating too many snacks, is to order your Kitty Kabinet with an extra large flapper door for easy access by your heavy weight.

Order your Kitty Kabinet today and we can have it delivered before your Christmas entertaining begins.

What to do with Litter Box Odor?

Hide the Litter Box

Hide the Litter Box

In just about every national cat publication you can find at least one article written on cat litter, litter boxes or problems getting cats to use them.

If you think about the shear numbers for a moment you will get some idea as to why this is such an ongoing hot topic:  1) There are 90 million cats in the U.S.  2) 40% of U.S. households own a cat, and the average is 2.3 cats per household.  3) The annual cat litter market is estimated to be a $1.5 billion dollar market.  And 4) The majority of cat owners say the most irritating aspect of owning a cat is a dirty, smelly litter box.

We can’t help you clean your litter box, but we can help you control the odor.  Our Kitty Kabinet is a beautiful piece of fine furniture that just about anyone would love to own, and unbeknown to your guests it hides the unsightly litter box.  Its nearly airtight construction keeps the odor inside until you are able to clean the litter box.  It is also large enough to provide a “landing area” just inside the flapper door where any litter caught on your cats’ feet will be removed before the cat reenters the family living area.

The Kitty Kabinet starts with the base unit, which in itself is a beautiful piece of cat furniture.  There are three optional modules you can add to the base to configure your Kitty Kabinet to fit your need for additional storage space.

These units are ideal for apartment or condo living where space is at a premium.  So begin now to check out the many options available to you in style, color, and configuration.

Tired of the Unsightly Litterbox?

"Hide the Litterbox" You have to admit … the litterbox is not a very pleasant thing to have to look at all the time.  If you live in a small apartment or condo you may not have a choice of tucking it away in the spare bedroom, out of sight of family and friends, because there simply isn’t a spare bedroom.

There is an affordable option if you would like to hide the litterbox.  And that is to place it inside a Kitty Kabinet.  A Kitty Kabinet is a beautiful piece of natural wood cat furniture for your home that is constructed so that you can place a litterbox in it and family and friends will not know it is there.  The litterbox is nearly air tight in its construction to keep odors in, and has a flapper door on the side for easy access in and out by your cat.

Kitty Kabinets are made from three different types of wood: Oak, Maple or Pine.  And you have the option of three different finish colors: Natural, a warm reddish brown Candelite, or a stylish dark Java.  You could also order one “unfinished” and stain it yourself.

So stop looking at that unsightly litterbox and order your Kitty Kabinet today.  We can have it built, stained and shipped to you within 14 days.

The Ideal Solution for Small Spaces

If you don’t have an out-of-the-way place, like a mud room or a basement, to put your cat’s litter box, you may be forced to look at it all the time and be subjected to unfavorable odors. Another concern for cat owners with small children is that their kids will treat the litter box like a sandbox and play with its contents, getting germs all over themselves and the rest of the house. What is the best solution for these problems that will also be convenient for your cat so he doesn’t have accidents?

A Kitty Kabinet base unit is ideal because it’s a beautiful piece of furniture that can hide your cat’s litter box right in plain view. You can easily access the litter box through the cabinet doors, and your cat can enter and exit with ease through the nearly airtight flapper door. Your cat will enjoy his privacy and you’ll enjoy having the litter box out of your sight! There are also Kitty Kabinet cubby units, drawers and shelves available to add onto the base unit, providing convenient space for storing kitty litter, toys and treats all in one place.

Litter Box or Kitty Kabinet Fresh Test

Traditional Style

Traditional Style

People wonder why their cats stop using the litter box and start having accidents.  The number one reason is usually associated with a  physical problem, so if your cat is beginning to miss the litter box you should visit the vet for a check up before a minor problem become something major and more expensive.  If a physical reason is ruled out as the cause, the next most popular reason for accidents is that the litter box is not clean.  You have to remember that a cats’ sense of smell is so superior to ours’ they are picking up offensive odors that can be totally obnoxious to them and we don’t even perceive the slightest smell.

Some litter box units hide the box from public view.  The Kitty Kabinet is one unit that is great for moving the unsightly litter box out of sight of the human occupants.  There is a unique flapper door that helps keep odors inside the unit.  Because of its design and the frequency of use it may require cleaning more often to make sure its acceptable to your cat.

Cats hate dirty, stinky litter boxes, and they may be driven to find other spots to relieve themselves.  So if you start finding “accidents” on the corner of the carpet, or on a bed, or in a pile of clean cloths, please consider the cleanliness of the litter box.

The Shaker Style features nice clean lines as evidenced by the chamfered (grooved) edge on the top and the tapered legs on the base.  This unit has flat panel doors and uses the same type of hinges used on the Traditional Style doors.
